6) Thread the belt through and use the locktite superglue for plastics. Wear nitrile gloves. Don't glue your hand to the belt. Allow to set overnight. Use much less tension than a leather belt requires. A LOT less. Also the belt runs with the normal ridged friction surface towards the pulley. Don't run it inside out.
